Bilingual Warehouse Supervisor

The Warehouse Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the efficient operation of the Warehouse and Shipping and receiving areas within the company's distribution centerThis role involves managing a team of warehouse personnel, ensuring proper handling and storage of goods, maintaining inventory accuracy, and upholding safety standardsThe supervisor coordinates with various departments to facilitate the smooth flow of products through the Warehouse and Refrigeration areas maintaining optimal cold chain conditions for perishable items.
Key Responsibilities Supervise Warehouse and Refrigeration areas Operations:
Direct and coordinate daily activities of the warehouse Warehouse staff, including employee scheduling, receiving, storing, picking, packing, and shipping of goods.
Warehouse Management:
Monitor and manage temperature-controlled storage areas to ensure the integrity and freshness of perishable items.
Inventory Management:
Implement inventory control procedures to accurately track stock levels, conduct regular stock counts, and reconcile discrepancies.
Ensure accurate tracking and data collection of and in and out of all Products Enforce food safety and quality control standards to maintain the integrity of products throughout the storage and handling processes.

Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies to create a safe working environment for warehouse staffConduct regular safety inspections and implement corrective actions as necessary.
Equipment Maintenance:
Oversee the maintenance and servicing of warehouse equipment, such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and cooling systems, to ensure operational efficiency and safetyAnd all refrigeration equipment Team Leadership:
Train, coach, and motivate warehouse staff to optimize performance, productivity, and teamwork with a priority on safety.
Workflow Optimization:
Identify opportunities for process improvements and efficiency enhancements within the warehouse operations.
Communication:
Foster effective communication and collaboration with other departments, such as logistics, procurement, and customer service, to meet operational goals and customer requirements.
Documentation and Reporting:
Maintain accurate records of warehouse activities, including receiving, shipping, and inventory transactionsGenerate reports on key performance metrics, such as productivity, accuracy, and inventory levels.
Bilingual:
English and Spanish Qualifications Previous experience in warehouse management or supervisory roles, preferably in a warehouse environment.
Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop a team.
Excellent organizational and time management abilities to prioritize tasks effectively.
Knowledge of warehouse operations, inventory management, and safety procedures.
Familiarity with temperature-controlled storage systems and perishable goods handling is preferred.
Proficiency in using warehouse management systems (WMS) and other relevant software applications.
Effective communication skills to interact with team members, vendors, and other stakeholders.
Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and work schedules in a fast-paced environment.
High school diploma or equivalent qualification required; additional certifications or relevant training beneficial.

Ability to adapt to changing circumstances and handle fast-paced environments typical of warehouse operations, adjusting strategies as needed to ensure productivity and efficiency.
Training and Development:
Willingness to provide training and development opportunities for Warehouse personnel to enhance their skills and knowledge in handling perishable goods and maintaining warehouse operations effectively.
Documentation and Reporting:
Ability to maintain accurate records, such as temperature logs, inventory reports, and incident documentation, and generate reports as needed to track performance and compliance.
